DIRECT FLIGHTS BETWEEN ENGLAND AND COSTA RICA |
The British will have Costa Rica as another option to spend their summer vacations in 2007, thanks to the creation of direct flights between England and Costa Rica which are scheduled to start in May, when the first airplane from the charter company First Choice will arrive to Liberia, Guanacaste. “It is a direct flight to the city of Liberia from London which will be maintained during the whole British vacation season. I am thrilled to say that this news has created enormous interest among the British population and we hope that this will be the steppingstone for other British airlines to start flying to the country,” stated Carlos Ricardo Benavides, Minister of Tourism. The Minister also added that there are conversations being held with other British, French, and German airlines in addition to others, which are expected to announce their arrival to the country once the negotiations have been finalized. |
