n 1996, Natural Lodge Caño Negro began their operations with only 10 rooms and the idea to attract only sport fishing clientele. Over time, their vision has changed allowing them to take advantage of the great potential that is the Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge. With their new focus, they now offer a wide variety of options to the visitors of Costa Rica such as: bird watching, photography, the observation of flora and fauna, wildlife adventure, wetlands discovery and cultural exposure. With the additional activities offered, arose the need to expand their infrastructure, which resulted in the construction of their 22 rooms, large restaurant, swimming pool, bar and on-site gardens, where you can see the most impressive birds.
